REGISTRATION POLICY/SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
REGISTRATION
1. Payment is required at the time of registration for all programs/classes.
2. CPTP - (City Property Tax Payer) Participant/parent DOES live or work within the Canton City Corporation Limits.
3. NCPTP - (Non City Property Tax Payer) Participant/parentDOES NOT live or work within the Canton CityCorporation Limits.
4. Register early and/or during registration dates. Classes/programs fill quickly and must meet minimum enrollment or are subject for cancellation.
REFUND POLICY
1. NO refunds will be granted five (5) days prior to programs/classes starting date.
2. We reserve the right to cancel programs/classes due to insufficient registrants or other causes beyond our control and a full refund will be granted.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Canton Joint Recreation District wants every child to have the opportunity to participate in various recreation programs.We are offering a limited fund scholarship program. In an effort to provide affordable programs the Recreation Department has established income eligibility guidelines to assist lower income individuals and families of the City of Canton. A separate application must be completed at the time of enrollment, which must be submitted at least two (2) weeks prior to the registration for the program. Classes that are co-sponsored are not eligible for scholarships.(ex:Red Cross Programs and All American Youth Activities). The programs directly offered by the Recreation Department will be offered at a 50% discount or up to $50.00. All requests and approvals for program assistance will be kept confidential. Proof of income and city residency is required.
